Bob Reaves is the founder of Florida Fish Haven. His experience comes from many aspects of this industry. He has been an assistant manager of a pet store, a breeder and has a thorough know-how maintaining aquariums and ponds. Our links to The Angelfish Society, where he sets on the Board of Directors, and the Florida Tropical Fish Farms Association (F.T.F.F.A.) are through him. His access to the University of Florida Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Science helps assure we can offer the best fish available and should a problem arise, diagnose and treat it quickly.

  • To  promote an interest in fish keeping and help the community.

Our business was founded in April 2007. We decided to offer the extraordinary Freshwater KOI Angelfish as our first fish. The first of these beauties sold the first quarter of 2008. We are in the process of expanding and are looking into offering other varieties of fish when we are done. All our fish are tank raised. It is more labor intensive than the traditional pond raised method but our fish are healthier, more beautiful and respond positively to human interaction.
